My Story
I Didn’t Start as a Travel Expert…
I started Resorts for 5 because I couldn’t find the information my own family needed. Beautiful resorts were easy to find. Rooms that actually worked for five weren’t.
Like so many parents, I’d spend hours researching beautiful resorts, reading reviews, and imagining our next trip—only to discover that many of the rooms I loved either didn’t accommodate five people or required us to book two separate rooms.
After running into the same frustration over and over again, I stopped relying on marketing photos and started researching room layouts, occupancy rules, floor plans, and family-friendly accommodations myself.
What began as planning vacations for my own family quickly became something I genuinely loved. Today, I spend countless hours researching luxury resorts, comparing room categories, and looking beyond the resort itself to answer the question that matters most:
Will this room actually work for a family of five?
That’s why I created Resorts for 5—to help other families skip the endless research and book vacations with confidence.

Why I Love Luxury Family Travel
If you’ve spent any time here, you’ll probably notice a pattern.
I love spacious suites, swim-out rooms, private pools, and resorts that make traveling with kids feel effortless. I believe family vacations should feel relaxing for parents too—not like you’re squeezing everyone into a room that technically “sleeps five.”
Some of our favorite memories have been made at resorts where we had space to spread out, easy access to the pool, and room for everyone to truly enjoy the vacation together.
Those experiences continue to shape every recommendation I share.
